Behnaz Elhaminia is a Research Fellow at University College London (UCL), within the Hawkes Institude, working with Professor Joseph Jacob on AI-driven medical image analysis and lung disease progression modelling. Her research focuses on developing and applying machine learning and deep learning approaches to medical image analysis, spanning a range of imaging modalities, from digital histopathology to radiological imaging. Her current research combines advanced AI-based image analysis with statistical and disease progression modelling to investigate imaging biomarkers, understand disease trajectories, and develop predictive models for respiratory diseases.
